- Prepare your advert. The Advert should be designed to draw prospective purchaser’s your business
- Adverting on 10 Mayor Business Sale web portals to maximise exposure
- Receive all enquiries, Qualify the Potential Purchaser, obtain a Confidential Statement. We then forward the interest parties details to you for perusal, consideration. You really don’t want to get bogged down talking with tyre kickers or even your opposition
- You contact the potential buyer and discuss the opportunity
- Once happy you forward the Business Profile
- Arrange an inspection of the business and begin the negotiation progress
We have found that most interested small business purchasers would prefer to have the owners conduct the inspection, and why not, Business Owners have the answers and show great pride when presenting their operation
Once you have reached an acceptable sales price, obtain a letter (email) setting out the terms and conditions of the sale INCLUDING
- Accepted sales price wiwo or plus stock and how the stock price will be arrived at?
- How will any work in progress or service contract be accounted for?
- Finance clause, and deposit accepted into a trust account
- Training Period and restriction of trade
- Full purchaser details and settlement date

- Our Commission Structure $6,000 first $50k 6% on the balance of the contract price. Note we do not change commission on stock
